What is the payment method?
Eatwith accepts Mastercard, American Express or Visa. All the payments on the website are secured and are made via Stripe.
How to cancel an event or a guest booking
If you need to cancel a guest booking or an entire event, please make sure that you message your guest(s) to inform them of the change and offer an alternative date to reschedule. You will also need to log into your Eatwith account and cancel the event or booking in order for the guest refund to be processed. You can do this by taking the below actions.
*Go to your Calendar—> click on the event on the correct date—> click on ‘Cancel booking’ for the relevant booking, or on ‘Cancel the event’ if you want to cancel the entire event
*Go to your Inbox—> click on the relevant conversation—> on the right, in the Booking Summary section, click on ‘Cancel booking’
Your guests will then receive an email informing them of the cancellation, and they should receive their refund within 2 working days (depending on their bank).
How do I cancel a booking request or a reservation?
To cancel your booking request:
*Log in to your account
*Go on My Reservations
*Select “Confirmed Bookings” or “Requested Bookings”
*Click on Cancel booking
Please be sure to always cancel your booking via the platform as above, and not just by sending a message to the host. Please also be aware that if you cancel your booking after the cancellation deadline of the event has passed, you will not receive a refund. You can check their full cancellation policy here.
How do I use a promo code/gift card?
*To use a promo code or a Gift Card, enter the code on the checkout page and click on “Apply code”.
*The final price will automatically update.
*Important: Please remember that you cannot combine promo codes and gift cards for the same reservation as they are not cumulative.
What is the cancellation policy?
All reservations are subject to Eatwith’s cancellation policy, as stated below:
*If a reservation is canceled by a guest before the cancellation deadline of the event, the guest is entitled to a reimbursement of the full reservation amount and the host shall not be paid any of the reservation amounts.
*If a reservation is canceled by a guest after the cancellation deadline of the event, then the guest shall not be entitled to any return, credit or reimbursement. Hosts will be paid the full amount of the booking.
The cancellation deadline for an event can be found in the checkout page before booking, and under My Reservations after booking. In case a host cancels a guest’s reservation, the guest will be credited with the full reservation amount such a guest has paid to Eatwith. Guest no-shows, late arrivals and requests to change the reservation details do not entitle the guest for a refund. Reimbursement to the guest is processed as soon as the cancellation has been made and usually takes between 2 to 10+ working days to reach the guest’s bank account (depending on the guest’s bank). Eatwith shall not bear any liability for any cost, expense, loss or damage that you may suffer or incur as a result of a host’s or guest’s cancellation of a reservation of the event. Additionally, Eatwith reserves the right to chargeback from hosts the reservation amount they received for organizing certain events if, upon the receipt of a complaint by a guest with respect to such event, it believes, at its sole discretion, that such event was not compatible with Eatwith standards of service or in case of any misconduct of the host.
