Frontpoint accepts all major Debit and Credit cards.
How do I set up the new system I just purchased?
The setup for a new Frontpoint Security System is done through their Setup Wizard. To access the Setup Wizard you will use your smartphone and go to Frontpoint.com/Setup in the web browser or download the Frontpoint App and tap on Setup Your New System. Enter your phone number on this screen and the Setup Wizard will find your account. From here follow the instructions in the Setup Wizard to be walked through the setup process.
How do I activate a new sensor or other pieces of equipment for my system?
When you receive the additional sensor in the mail, it will include a card directing you to activate the sensor via the Setup Wizard on the Frontpoint App.
You can access the Setup Wizard by logging in to your Frontpoint App and selecting the Equipment Setup option in the menu. From here, select the category of the equipment and a list of all the available pieces of that type will appear. Then select which ones you are ready to activate and the app will walk you through activating, mounting, and testing the new equipment.
What happens when my alarm goes off?
In the event of an alarm in which the siren sounds for at least 30 seconds, Frontpoint monitoring station will first call you for verification. They will call your 2-3 pre-dispatch phone numbers on file and ask for your verbal passcode. If there is no answer, no passcode, an incorrect passcode, or a request for dispatch, they will dispatch the appropriate authorities for the alarm. In the event of a false alarm, please contact their monitoring station at 1-833-700-0212 and provide your verbal passcode to cancel dispatch.
What is Frontpoint warranty policy?
In the event that any part of your Frontpoint System, except for screens, wiring, lightbulbs, l.e.d.’s, l.c.d.’s, expendable batteries and foil tape, shall become defective within three (3) years from (i) the date of initial activation of the equipment containing such part at the Premises (“Warranty Period”), Frontpoint will replace or repair the defective part without charge to you (“Warranty”) so long as you are an active Frontpoint customer in good standing. They may use reconditioned parts in making repairs, but their warrants the replacement parts only for the remainder of the warranty period. This warranty is not assignable. If you discover a defect in the products you have purchased from Frontpoint, you should immediately contact their in writing or by telephone, at the address and telephone number and fully describe the nature of the defect so that repair service may be rendered.
