When shopping for hockey gear at HockeyMonkey, you will find a range of savings options. The main offer is the 5% off sitewide promo code, which applies to almost everything you can buy. However, many larger discounts are available on specific items or categories, potentially saving you much more money.

If you are a new customer, skip the 5% sitewide code and sign up for the HockeyMonkey newsletter first to get 15% off your initial purchase. This is a much larger discount for your first order. For example, on a CA$100 first purchase, this signup deal saves you CA$15, bringing your total to CA$85, compared to only CA$5 with the sitewide code.

For general purchases not on sale, or for items not covered by any other specific promotion, the 5% off sitewide promo code is your default choice. This code applies across the entire store, offering a modest saving on regular priced merchandise.

HockeyMonkey has many opportunities for bigger savings on specific product lines or in markdown sales. Always check if the items you want are part of these promotions, as they offer much larger percentage savings than the sitewide code.

For heavily discounted selected items, look for the up to 85% off selected items deal. If your desired product is included, this will be your best option. For example, if you find an item marked at CA$100 that qualifies for an 85% discount, you would save CA$85 and pay only CA$15.

Clearance goalie accessories can see reductions of up to 71% off. This is a significant saving for specific equipment. Similarly, True Catalyst goalie equipment has up to 29% off available.

You can save up to 67% off hockey helmets, which is a substantial discount if you are in the market for new head protection.

Two 50% off markdown sales are active, offering a chance to save half price on selected apparel, accessories, and equipment. There is also a Victoria Day Sale with up to 60% off sale products, though this is for a limited time on selected items.

If you are buying sticks, several offers are available. You can find up to 53% off clearance hockey sticks, 25% off Tracer, E50 Pro, and E40 sticks, or 15% off Sherwood mystery hockey sticks. For Bauer Vapor League Pro Hockey Sticks, you can save $50. Check which specific stick you are buying to see which of these applies. For example, on a Bauer Vapor League Pro stick priced at CA$200, the $50 off deal brings your total to CA$150.

For Sherwood Code Encrypt equipment, you can get a flat 40% off.

Some items are offered at a specific low price point rather than a percentage off. For example, the Bauer XLP adjustable youth roller hockey skates are CA$129.99, the Mission Hilo court indoor soft 76A roller hockey wheel 4 pack is CA$29.99, and Bauer RS youth roller hockey skates are CA$149.99. These are already at their reduced price, and the 5% sitewide code will not apply further savings.

Looking at our records, the current 5% off sitewide promo code is modest compared to the biggest code we have seen for HockeyMonkey in the 12 months to October 2026, which was 35% off in December 2025, with typical codes running around 33% off. Our team tested 4 HockeyMonkey offers at checkout in that period. However, the up to 85% off sales currently available match the biggest sale we recorded in the same timeframe from July 2026, indicating some excellent deals on selected items.

To get the most savings at HockeyMonkey, always check if your chosen items are part of a specific sale or markdown. These category or product specific offers usually provide much greater discounts than the general 5% off sitewide promo code. If no other offer applies, or if you are a first time customer, remember to prioritize the 15% off newsletter signup for your first order. Use whichever option gives you the lowest final price for your cart.
